About the Artist:

Sarah went to school in the Pacific Northwest and studied Archaeology and Art History, minoring in Classical Studies (Latin Language), Medieval Studies, and Studio Art. She spent the three summers while at university traveling around Scotland (specifically the Orkney Islands) and Italy working on architectural and mosaic conservation, and land and maritime archaeology. After graduation she worked as an art handler, painting instructor, and conservation technician. She works on art in her free time while working as a freelance conservation technician and artisan. She loves art and design related to film production such as set fabrication and prop production/design especially in relation to stop motion. She is a multi-media artist with a deep love for archaeology, film, nature/the maritime world, and art.
